Privacy policy

Effective October 30, 2026. This policy describes the current operation of Insta Transcript Go.

What is processed

Submitting the tool sends the public Instagram URL to our service. A private media resolver retrieves the public audio/video into a temporary server directory. Cloudflare Workers AI processes the audio to generate the transcript. This is server processing, not browser-only transcription.

The temporary media file is deleted when the retrieval handler finishes. We do not maintain a transcript history, user account, or searchable transcript library. The transcript remains in your browser until you leave or replace it; downloaded TXT files remain on your own device.

Limits and network data

The service temporarily uses a salted hash derived from the connection IP for per-visitor rate limits. The resolver does not record the full IP address, URL or transcript in an application access log. In-memory counters reset daily or when the resolver restarts. Cloudflare and Instagram may process network and security metadata under their own policies.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

We do not install analytics, advertising trackers, affiliate tracking or optional cookies. We may add third-party advertising or affiliate links in the future; this policy and any legally required consent controls would need updating before those features are enabled.

Your choices

Do not submit private, confidential or unauthorized content. You can stop using the tool without creating an account. Clear the page to remove the visible result, or close the tab. This does not delete a TXT file you downloaded.
